Nationalism and History

Most of the folks live in " impulsive reality" It is not just a time immemorial philosophy, a flesh of truth. What's the use you and me if we cannot live ahead as "torch bearers" of "civilizational reality" Love begets love, hate spills hate, tooth for tooth, violence breed violence, etc., it is true. You and me are the part of whatever chain reactions of histories , still we can break the small small joints of the chains the point from where you and me stand. Some times love never returns in love and hate in hate as well. The growth of history from animal ism to what we call "glorious" civilization of mankind more or less based on this fact. I had lived in many places in North east states, most of the part in India for many years. The " ideal nationalism" that we feel never exists in its pure essence anywhere, if it is there , it never surpass people's subcultural values. ( I can site Tamil Nadu and all the North Eastern States and hundreds of subcultures across the country)
We have to work upon that reality not to "dehumanize" them or impose on them alien cultural values. Jinnah, the multiples of the Hindu extreme organisations, Gandhi, INC were to be evaluated in the context of freedom movement, Of course, they might have made historical blunders, but still a propriety of comparative judgement possible between them on the basis of humanistic values.It is we, our generation has to go with all inclusive corrective measures taking into the advantage of past experiences, not to repeat them again in our word and deeds .
Optimistically, our generation lack monolithic sensibility of seeing things. The thinking among them likes to be exposed to diverse nature of human societies and take energy from them to "" understand/act/solve "" the life complex.
